A message from Niall Mellon:

"Plans are well under way for our November 2008 trip which will see 2,000 volunteers arriving in South Africa for our biggest building blitz yet. Each volunteer must raise at least 5,000 Euro before they arrive and this money pays for the trip and also purchases materials to pay for our houses.

I cannot adequately express my gratitude to all the people who have played a part in helping us to make a success of our fantastic project.

Working as a volunteer for one week is a short time but it is a life-changing experience that humbles everyone. This was launched as an Irish project, it has now moved beyond our shores and our volunteers from the UK, Europe, and America are growing.

We have made ambitious targets to expand our programme and need all the help we can get.

Once again, I would like to say a special thank you to all the fantastic people who have helped with this project. It belongs to all of us. Our mutual dream and objective is to get rid of as many shacks as we can in South Africa."

Yours Sincerely

Niall Mellon
