Builders Photos 2004
We would like to send a big thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard during the Township Challenges of 2003 and 2004. In our first building blitz, 154 volunteers made the trip to Imizamo Yethu and built 25 houses in one week. 2004 saw 350 volunteers build 50 houses over one week. More than 250 residents of the township were installed in their new brick homes in time for Christmas 2004 - making it a very merry Christmas indeed.
Without the help and hard work of the volunteers - both building and fund-raising - the Niall Mellon Township Challenge could not happen. Thanks for your time, energy and generousity.
