Living in a shack along the N3 in Cavan
Volunteers Ursula O’Reilly and Richard Fitzsimons braved the Irish elements on the August bank holiday weekend, living in a shack along the N3 in Cavan.
The shack was erected by the volunteers and their families. The fundraiser saw many visitors to the shack, the star of the show being Richards’ granny who turned 102 this year! All were welcomed by a cup of tea and the event raised over €14,000 for the charity.
