BUILDING BLITZ 2008 - 28th November – 6th December 2008

Plans are well under way for the November 2008 Volunteer Building Blitz. Over 2000 volunteers will travel to Cape Town, South Africa and help to build 250 houses in one week for the residents of the Cape Towns largest township, Khayelitsha.

It's going to be a very special week. Working on a building site can be great fun, but more importantly, each of the volunteers will have the opportunity to meet and change the lives of some of the poorest people on this planet. The Building Blitz is for one week, but the benefits of it last a lifetime for the people you have come to help.

Places are full for the November 2008 Building Blitz although consideration will still be given to blocklayers and plasterers.

Every volunteer makes a difference – Every single one.

Get ready for a very special week.
